Thank you for considering a donation to A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay. Through the generous support of our donors, we are able to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing home to foster children from all over the greater Tampa Bay area.  Thank you for being a part of what we do and for helping to make a difference in the lives of our community's most vulnerable children!

Children removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or even abandonment continue to be a problem in our country. Currently, there are over 5,000 children in foster care in the greater Tampa Bay area and we as a community can work together to help these children.  These are children like Amaria, who asked for an Easy Bake oven for her birthday.  Amaria is 16 years old, but she was so busy taking care of her younger siblings that she never had a chance to be a child herself.  At A Kid's Place, she was confident that her brothers and sister were safe and loved so she was able to blossom as an independent young woman who quickly made friends and enrolled in the local high school.  She loves going to football games, hanging out at the mall, and helping make dinner in her house.  Of course, she also quickly mastered her Easy Bake oven and shared delicious hockey puck sized cakes with anyone who asked!

Foster children tend to feel isolated and different, but together we can make a difference in their lives.  Your support of A Kid's Place - our Siblings Connected program, the House Parent model on which we're based, the educational opportunities, outings, Independent Living classes and medical, dental and therapeutic care offered to each child - helps us to provide the love and healing these children so desperately need.  Your donations show that you believe in these children and what they can become with the help of those who support them.
